I'm excited to make the move to KISS Country from MIX!  I've been a country music fan (and performer) for years!  When looking for a career before graduating, I researched and auditioned to attend Brown's Institute for DJ work.  I was accepted, but mom and dad could not afford to send me.  Many years later with no experience in radio, I ended up doing the very thing I was interested in as a teenager.  I did mornings on Mix 96.5 for over 3 years and now you can catch me on KISS weekdays from 2pm-8pm

I'm a lifelong Iowan and enjoy spending time with my family and grandchildren Abbie, Ayden and Keegan, going to movies and sharing my days with my boyfriend, Todd!  Along with entertaining on the radio, I'm also a professional singer - performing for corporate events, town celebrations and a variety of private functions for just over 20 years. 

Woo hoo!  New picture!  Now maybe I won't look so much like an Avon lady from the 60's!

My birthday is May 24th.  I love flowers!!!

Thanks for joining me on KISS Country!  For those who don't know me.  I'm real, not phony, and I'm genuine - you'll hear the truth from me. Where has April gone?

First and formost....I just want to thank all of you for the kind words and all the support my family and I received at the time of my mother's death April 1st.


Today I had to laugh.... my significan other's co-workers teased him about coming home for lunch, when they overheard him talking to me on the phone and that I hadn't left for work yet.  Of course they said he was just wanting afternoon delight.  We looked at each other when he walked in the door and I said, it's too much work to get undressed and dress back up for work.  He laughed and replied, "you know your are getting old and been with someone so long that you think it's too much work to get undressed!!!"  I thought I would share that laugh with you and knew you would probably agree!!!
